Our Background

CSI Chaplains serve around the world both as volunteer and vocational chaplains helping to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28) to "go into all the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the ministry of Matthew 25 "when you have done this to the least of these you have done it unto me".

CSI Chaplains serve "outside the gates". (Hebrews 13) and endeavor to connect the ministry of the local church to their communities through the demonstration of care. With over 100 combined years of chaplaincy and ministry experience our team shares our experience to help other chaplains, to empower and outfit them with the tools they need to succeed. Chaplaincy ministry is the invitation to pastor a group of people outside the church walls. Like Jesus’ ministry in houses, streets and hillsides, you will be shoulder to shoulder with people in the moments they need His hope and truth the most.

As a Military chaplain, you are the hands opening a Bible and pointing to the freedom you’ve found in Jesus. Correctional chaplains are the voice removing labels and sharing the truth about the God who sees and treasures us. Healthcare and Police/Fire chaplains shine hope into lives filled with fear. And the list goes on.

Our Approach

CSI Chaplaincy Training is offered in person and via Zoom. Our Basic training is 24 hours of classroom covering subjects such as:

History
Theology and Philosophy of Chaplaincy
The Grief Cycle
Critical Incident Stress Management
Domestic Violence
Suicide
Peer Counseling
Legal and Constitutional Basis for Chaplaincy
Characteristics of Caregivers and First Responders
And More!

Advanced training dives deeper into the requirements, issues and challenge/opportunities specific to the particular areas of chaplaincy.

Our Services

Our service includes a comprehensive consult to help identify strengths, weaknesses, offer innovations, best practices and opportunities. Training, coaching and mentoring are key. We want to give each chaplain the time and guidance you deserve to achieve your chaplaincy and ministry goals.

We didn’t get here on our own and neither will you.

We offer chaplaincy training for Police, Fire, Emergency Services, Hospital, Hospice, Jail, Prison, Industry, Manufacturing, Athletics and the Marketplace.

Where may a chaplain serve?

Anywhere there are people.

When all requirements are met including payment, assignments, exam, and background check we issue a certificate of training and an identification card.
